Barrie Royals Winter Classic
The Barrie Royals Basketball Club is happy to announce Tournaments are back for another Season!
All our tournaments are OBA Sanctioned.
Typical tournament format.
- 8 Teams, 2 Pools (3 Games Guaranteed* + Playoffs for Top 4 Teams)
- Medals for Top 3
- 90 Mins between games (minimum)
- Spectators Allowed (no entrance fees)
- Saturday (*2 Games) & Sunday (*1 Game, 2 Games if you advance to Medal round)
- No Friday Night Games
Tournaments may run with fewer teams, depending on registration numbers.
Every season, our goal is to offer at least one tournament for each age group for girls and boys.

Barrie is the place where champions are made, where athletes can train and compete and where dedicated staff and the community are committed to helping organize your best sporting event, activity and competition.
Barrie has hosted numerous provincial, national and international championships in recent history. It has successfully leveraged great investments in outdoor and indoor sports facilities, including a multiplex, outdoor sports complex, and a variety of other indoor and outdoor venues. Sport in Barrie continues to benefit from professional staff and a community of highly dedicated volunteers.
Payment and Refund Policy
All tournament entry fees must be paid via credit card at time of registration through the TeamSnap Tournaments App.
Our refund policy is as follows:
- If a team withdraws 60 days prior to the start of the tournament, the full registration fee less a $150 administration fee will be refunded.
- If a team withdraws between 60 and 30 days prior to the start of the tournament, a 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
- If a team withdraws less than 30 days prior to the start of the tournament there are NO REFUNDS.
- If a tournament is cancelled for any reason prior to the start of the tournament, a full refund will be provided to all teams.
- If a tournament is cancelled after games have commenced a partial refund will be issued depending on the progress of the tournament.
